If it cost you nothing, would you give to charity or download from itunes?

Full disclosure: This post is about one of my clients who is.. I think.. just rad. That said.. This was written by me and in no way represents Kasasa. I just think they're neat and thought you guys/gals might want to check 'em out..

I seriously hate banking. In fact, if I could just not use a bank I probably would just do that. At least, that is how I felt until we got this client, Kasasa. They offer banking products that YOUNG PPL can get behind (finally!).

Stuff I like about Kasasa:

1. These are banking products that ONLY local community banks and credit unions can carry to help them compete against the megabanks. (Yay to the little guy!)
2. Their checking and savings offer very high interest (Yay to more free money!)
3. Their "Giving" account lets you put your interest towards a charity (what other bank does this???)
4. Their "Tunes" account lets you get your interest as iTunes downloads instead of cash get iTunes downloads every month by meeting monthly qualifications (uh... AWESOME!)
5. Right now if you go to their blog and vote on your fav video they will give $$ to 3 awesome charities (American Humane, Stand up to Cancer, & The Boys and Girls Club) go here to vote: http://doyoukasasa.blogspot.com/2009/09/kasasa-slam-poetry-whats-your-favorite.html

WHAT YOU CAN DO if you don't Kasasa (yet):
- Follow the above link and VOTE
- Friend Kasasa on Myspace - http://www.myspace.com/kasasa
- Fan Kasasa on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/doyoukasasa
- If you have friends on MySpace or Facebook (over 18) who might be interested in a cool new way to bank, please put out a bulletin or send them a message and encourage them to friend/fan Kasasa.
- Go to their site (see if they're in your area) and start giving to charity or getting free music the easy way
- If they're not in your area, scream and pound ur virtual fists until they are!! Lol

My biggest question: WHICH Kasasa account would you choose? Why?

Edit: Their "Tunes" account lets you get iTunes downloads every month by meeting monthly qualifications (this ISN'T turning your interest into downloads as I originally thought). -Sorry! Still cool though!

Wow, I think these guys are really on to something. I haven't had much change to look around their site yet, but so far I'm loving what I see. Which is pretty amazing, because I'm against banks as a general rule.
